PlayStation fans…start your hype engines! It looks like the folks over at Sony have confirmed the date and time information for their press conference at this year’s E3 spectacular. The conference now has a start time of 6:00 PM PDT (9:00 PM Eastern), on Monday, June 12th. Those of you in Europe might want to stock up on the caffeine, as this means the conference will be starting for you at 2:00 AM BST on the following Monday. Historically, though, staying up for these has been totally worth it in the past.
Since Sony’s PSX conference back in December, the giant in the world of gaming has been pretty tight-lipped about what the press and fans may see at E3 2017. We’ve only really gotten PlayStation exclusives since then, but things may start to shift a bit, as fans are looking forward to updates on titles like Spider Man, Days Gone, and the highly-anticipated God of War. There are also rumors of an announcement from Sucker Punch (the studio that brought us Infamous: Second Son), as well as (if the stars align) something from From Software.
As in years past, Sony will be presenting their conference from The Shrine Auditorium in sunny Los Angeles, California, and some fans can’t wait to see what kinds of pomp & circumstance might be on the docket for this year. With just over one month before E3 graces us with its presence once again, we here at Pop Culture Uncovered will be closely monitoring the information as it unfolds, and will try to bring you as many updates as possible.
What are you looking forward to hearing about from Sony this year, dear readers? What titles are you excited for? Let us know in the comments, or tweet us @PCUncovered!
