The Conjuring franchise expands it’s reach with the upcoming thriller, The Nun. Here we get the back story behind the demon Valek from The Conjuring 2 as it is the focus of the story of the death of a sister of the cloth. Set in 1952, a priest is sent by the Vatican to investigate the suicide death of a nun at the Carta Monastery. What he finds is much more horrific than he could have imagined.
