Netflix lovers, it’s about to be on!

Stuck on the train and got a Stranger Things itch?  Never fear, Netflix now has you covered!

Netflix made the following announcement today:

Starting today, Netflix users, upon updating the app will be able to download some of their favorite shows and movies and watch them offline. You also get to specify the quality of the program. Of course there is a caveat. For now, the list is limited and Netflix has not made a list of non downloadable movies, so it’s something that viewers will have to experiment with.

In a statement about the update, Eddy Wu, Netflix’s director of product innovation, said,

“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited,”

This feature is available on both Android and iOS.
