The Video Games of 2016

This year was an interesting one for gamers.  Triple A games expected to do well such as Battleborn and No Man’s Sky flopped.  There was a soft console refresh with the PS4 Pro, VR gaming has finally been unleashed, and of course there was Pokemon Go.

There weren’t a lot of new IPs that pushed the needle, but 2016 was definitely dominated by sequels to great franchises, and there was a slew of remasters as well.  With that in mind we want to ask you as gamers to choose what you think were some of the best in gaming** for 2016.

If there were any games that we missed or want to discuss, please do so in the comments section below.

**Please note that the polls will mostly look at major games released on consoles and may not necessarily show PC, VR or mobile releases.  Polls may not show all current and future games in release as well.

Uncharted 4 and Street Fighter V are my favorite game sequels. I also loved Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. It is better than FIFA 17 in my opinion
