Now that Otakon is in the rear view mirror, it’s time to get ready for Baltimore Comic Con and it’s coming in less than 30 days.
For the uninitiated, let’s give you an idea of what to expect.
What is it?
Baltimore Comic Con is a three day event happening from September 5-7 2014. The con has attracted crowds of upwards to 25,000+ people. In our opinion, it’s one of the few cons that is still dedicated solely to comic books where fans get to meet creators both mainstream and indie.
Who is coming?
The list is HUGE but many names will catch your eye such as Greg Capullo, Cliff Chiang, David Finch, Dean Haspiel, Rags Morales, George Perez as well as Walter and Louise Simonson. Some others you may want to meet are Enrica Jang, Nikkol Jelenic, Ericka Schultz, Maureen Stewart, Nate Getz, Nick Dedual, Ben, Fenny Lyn, Bryan Tillman, Paige Pumphrey and many other creators.
So what do I do when I get there?
This is easy. Bring some comics to get signed. Come in costume and see if you can win the costume contest, hang out at a few panels or get some swag. Also, you may want to consider checking out the Harvey Awards to see if your favorite comic book cleans up. Baltimore Comic Con is a fan friendly place where comers of all ages can have a great weekend of seeing the sights; meeting new people and watching their favorite characters come to life. And kids under 10 get in FREE!!!!
Great!!! Where can I get more information?
