Movie Brew: ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Final Trailer

The final battle between the Resistance and the First Order begins in the trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’.

In less than two months, Star Wars fans will be assembling in theaters around the world to watch The Rise of Skywalker, the final film in the ‘Skywalker Saga’.

On Monday evening during halftime on Monday Night Football, Lucasfilm released the final trailer for the final film of the saga. The trailer features characters and locations both old and new in its 2 minute and 30 second run time.

While not much is known about the plot, the trailer does give viewers some perspective of how the Resistance has been rebuilding and how the First Order has grown even more powerful. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you can watch it below.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in theaters December 20, 2019 and stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Adam Driver, Ian McDiarmid and Carrie Fisher (in her last performance as General Leia) and is directed by JJ Abrams.
