Sony pictures introduces the world to a unique anti-hero in the first trailer for ‘Bloodshot’.

On Monday, Sony Pictures released the trailer for Bloodshot, their brand new comic book film based on the popular comic from Valiant Comics.

Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel in the lead role of Ray Garrison/ Bloodshot. In the comics, Garrison is a soldier recruited by an organization called Project Rising Spirit to become the perfect weapon. His entire body is injected with nanotechnology which allows him to heal from any wound, take control of other tech around him, and even change his appearance. This makes him the ultimate soldier and aids him in carrying out his various missions.

However, at the end of every mission, Garrison is killed and his memory is erased to get him ready for the next mission. It’s when all of the erased memories blur together that Garrison rebels and takes the fight to Rising Spirit.

Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel, Guy Pearce and Toby Kebbell and is directed by Dave Wilson. The film is produced by Sony Pictures and will be released on February 21, 2020.
