Here it is, South Park fans! The formal announcement for South Park: The Fractured But Whole’s first story-expanding DLC, From Dusk Till Casa Bonita, was just made by Ubisoft yesterday. Those of us who played and enjoyed both The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole (and let’s be honest, who didn’t like them?) are getting our next chance to dive back into the South Park world and fight evil.
This time, players will resume the mantle of “The New Kid” (or “Douchebag”, as Cartman calls us), and the superheroes of South Park will be tasked with defeating a coven of the Vamp Kids, with whom Mysterion’s sister has become embroiled. According to the description given by Ubisoft, a new character class, new powers, new loot, new Goth costumes will be part of this new adventure, and we’ll even see a new support character. Take a look at what the developers had to say about this DLC:
Mysterion’s sister is in trouble. She’s fallen in with the Vamp Kids of South Park, who have descended upon Cartman’s favorite restaurant, Casa Bonita. Visit the famous family eatery and explore Black Bart’s Cave, watch the cliff divers, taste the magic of Mexico and defeat the brood of Vampires.
Fight darkness with darkness and embrace the new Netherborn class, which features four new occult powers. Dress the part in new Goth costumes and gain some sweet loot. Enter the battle alongside Henrietta, the Goth: a powerful support Witch, and bring your new powers and buddy to the rest of your superhero adventure.
From Dusk Till Casa Bonita is set to release on March 20 for Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC, and will run you $11.99.
