Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan 35th Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that 35 years have passed since arguably the finest film version of the long running Star Trek franchise was released. The Wrath of Khan had everything you could want: action, intrigue, revenge, humor, and unbearable loss. The icing on the cake of course was the scenery chewing title character portrayed by Ricardo Montalbán.

According to treknews.net, AMC theaters will be showing the special extended directors cut, previously released to blu-ray in 2016, in select theaters around the country beginning September 10th.

Keep an eye out for more news on the re-release as fall draws near Trek fans! Live long and prosper!
