Places you’d expect to be able to find an NES Classic: GameStop, Amazon, EBay, and a couple of others. However, getting your hands on one is nearly impossible.

That being said, a very unlikely retailer has just stepped up, and will also be selling them for $60. That’s right, an NES Classic Edition for only $60! Where can one get this, you ask? Believe it or not, at Urban Outfitters. Don’t be discouraged if you see the “sold out” sign.  Just wait patiently to see if that changes.

Yep, you read that correctly. The hipster store known for its “ironic” products will have an online-only, limited stock sale on the classic consoles, and it’ll start in the morning on Tuesday. No exact times are known yet, but it’s a good bet that it’ll start at either 12:01am, 7am, 8am, or 9am.

There’s one cool thing about a sale like this: Because it’s at a place like Urban Outfitters, not many people would expect it. Therefore, if you’re looking for that perfect holiday gift for a gamer on your list, this may be your best chance to wow someone this year. Just make sure you get there early!

Take it from us: if there’s one thing we know, it’s scrambling for items like the NES Classic Edition. Just set up an account the Urban Outfitters site, stay logged in, and keep your eyes open. It’s probably also a good idea to log in on a few devices (tablet, PC/laptop, phone) so that you can refresh multiple times at once. I’d normally advise you to bribe a few friends to help you with this, but… Keep this one close to the chest.
