Today has already been a day for reveals from the gaming world.

Just this morning, Rockstar Games tweeted out the first trailer for the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2, and it. Is. STUNNING.

It’s been 6 years since Red Dead Redemption blew gamers away with its amazing story, open-world gameplay, and high-quality graphics, and now it’s time to see what the next game in the series will have in store for us.

Over the last few days, Rockstar has been teasing the sequel, and now we can see the work that the developer has put into this game. While we know next to nothing about the story, it’s been hinted that the game will be a prequel to the critically acclaimed open world western that was the first Red Dead Redemption. The frontier is more unforgiving, times a bit more harsh, and the West just a bit more wild. A map of the in-game world was also leaked a little bit ago, which seems to support the prequel rumors, and gives us a look at where we’d be playing. Along with all of that, this one-minute teaser trailer shows off a beautiful look at the game to come.

Whatever the game turns out to be, we can most likely rest assured that it will keep gamers glued to their consoles in order to see how things play out.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled to release in the fall of 2017 on both PS4 and Xbox One.
