More Call of Duty Goodness arrives on Xbox One

A few short weeks ago, we reported that Call of Duty 2, the game that launched with the Xbox 360, had arrived on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.   We speculated about how long it would take to get other Call of Duty titles to run on the Xbox One.

Now we have an answer.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the rest of the COD WWII shooters have been made backwards compatible. Major Nelson in a tweet revealed that Call of Duty World at War is now backwards compatible.

Also, if you check with Microsoft’s backwards compatibility list, gamers will find that Call of Duty 3 as well as Black Ops is listed as well.

Looks like gamers will have a plethora of Call of Duty titles to choose from this fall which also includes the Modern Warfare remaster due in November.

Be forewarned gamers, if you haven’t gotten it already, the price is creeping back up already as well. On Amazon, you can get the game new between 10 and 23 dollars. At Gamestop, it’s running around 15 dollars for a pre-owned version.

Will you pick this up again? Tell us why in the comments.
