One of the first 1st person shooter that I every really enjoyed playing was Duke Nukem 3D. The game was just simply a fun romp of a game that never took itself seriously. It was the perfect PC game for my teenage self to play. Unfortunately, the adult me had to play the lackluster sequel that was Duke Nukem Forever (DKF), the experience of which firmly killed all the luster of a once fabled franchise.
With the 20th anniversary of Duke Nukem 3D upon us, the minds at Gearbox Software have decided to bring a remastered version of game to current consoles and PC via Stream as Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour. Not only are they remastering it, but they have also brought back some the game’s original designers from 3D Realms to create a new level. This, coupled with that fact that you will be able to play in the original graphical scheme or the remastered one, for just $19.99 they can have my money.
You can pre-order the game now on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One, or you can just wait the buy it when it is released on October 11th.
