Sarah Palin, the gift that keeps on giving to SNL
To nearly no one’s surprise, Sarah Palin’s reemergence last week to endorse GOP frontrunner Donald Trump meant that Tina Fey would soon follow to cash in.
Last night’s Saturday Night Live cold open started off with Fey effortlessly channelling Palin’s near incoherent speech last week.
It’s really scary when art imitates real life and all Palin has to do is speak for Fey to cash in.
“We’ve seen our own children targeted by the police for no reason other than they committed some crimes,” Fey said, referring to Palin’s son’s recent run-in with the law for domestic abuse.
“We turn on the news every morning and are shocked to see we’re not even on it, because we’ve been replaced by immigrants like Geraldo Rivera.”
I am still curious to know how SNL managed to get the exact same blouse that Palin wore.
Check out the clip here to see it in its entirety.

The blouse was sold out and someone on the props team made a replica. Crazy, huh?
