How many times have you gone to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Out of those times, did you do 3D, IMAX or both? Did you know that there is one more way to see it? You can see it in DBOX.
If you are going with a group, it’s best to buy your tickets ahead of time to reserve your seats and be able to sit together. Upon arrival, get your seats, put your 3D glasses (if needed) and hang on! Your seat will rock back and forth with you as the movie progresses. You will feel like you are there as Resistance freedom fighters escape the clutches of the First Order in a stolen TIE Fighter, or as the Millennium Falcon outruns its pursuers, you can even feel the Dark Side as Kylo Ren interrogates a hapless First Order officer…you can also know what it feels like when one droid bitchslaps another.
The best part is that you can adjust the intensity at the push of a button on your chair. As far as cost, it may vary from theater to theater but it’s not much more than the price to see the movie in 3D.
For those of you who live on the east coast or at the very least, been to Kings Dominion in the past 20 years, it’s similar to the Days of Thunder attraction that used to be there.
Honestly, I couldn’t see myself doing this for every movie because being shook up and around for 2+ may be a bit much but it was, at least a fun way to see Star Wars.
