The Trailer for “X-Men: Apocalypse” is here!
20th Century Fox will drop this trailer next week as many of us go off to see Star Wars the Force Awakens.
This trailer shows how Apocalypse was worshipped as a god and the war that he is bringing to human-kind.
We also get to see glimpses of a young Charles Xavier, Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Archangel and a few others.
X-men Apocalypse releases on May 27th 2016
Days of Future Past was a decent movie. Not quite as good as some of the other comic book inspired movies in recent years, but far better than X2. First class was not as horrible as it could have been, and actually came out as a middle of the road movie.
Since I’m old enough to remember the original comic story line I’m not enthused by the look of Apocalypse. However, that can be overlooked if the writing and acting good. I’m hopeful for this movie. (Funny thing. Obviously they survive because Wolverine made it back to the future (no pun intended), and was one of only two people who had remembered his foray into the past. Since this movie happens after that, but before X-Men, we know that everything turns out fine because they haven’t incorporated the multiverse into these movies.)
My only hope is that they cut the people who tinkered with the Fantastic Four out of the decision loop. Sorry, but that movie made Ant Man look like an Oscar-worthy masterpiece.
Anyway, I’m not going to say, “It’s gonna suck,” like I’ve been able to do with some of the other movies over the years (cough… cough… Captain America 1990, X2, the failed Wonder Woman series from a few years back). I’ll watch this before another Wolverine movie.
