Microsoft reverses its decision on Backwards Compatibility
Well today Microsoft actually caved in to their customers.
During their E3 press conferences as they announced Halo 5, Forza 6 and more, gamers were told that this coming fall, they would be able to get just over 100 games that would accomplish this.
The feature is available for Xbox Preview Members today and would be available to everyone else later this year.
No word yet on how saves will be moved from your 360 to the Xbox One or if you would have to start anew.
Now, I don’t want to call anyone a flip flopper, but remember when Microsoft’s Don Mattrick said this a few years ago?

“If you’re backwards compatible, you’re really backwards.”
I wonder what made them change their mind? Oh yeah, he resigned from Microsoft not too long afterwards and then went to work for Zynga (like that was a step up) and as of April 2015 he also departed from Zynga.
I guess that means, some forward thinking genius realized that backwards compatibility was the way to go.
It makes me wonder how Sony will react to this announcement as well. PS Live is a cool concept but many of us still have issues with the price points.
More on this as it develops.
