Let’s get right to it and not keep you guys waiting.
The announcement will have ramifications on the Secret War event that Marvel has planned for later this year.

Today, it was announced on ABC’s The View that Marvel will introduce A-Force, an all female Avengers team featuring Dazzler, She-Hulk and a few others.

They will also create a new character for the event called Singularity, a cosmological event of sorts that’s not human…but chooses to be female.

The series will be co-written by Marguerite K. Bennett and G. Willow Wilson (who is killing it on Ms. Marvel!).

Marvel looks to really make a push with women…although I really would like to see Shuri, Misty Knight and Photon (Monica Rambeau) make an appearance as well.
