How long you have been cosplaying: Wife and I Con-going cosplay 1 year. But making costumes for fun; been doing that my whole life with my awesome grandfather!

1. Who or what inspired you to cosplay?
Grandfather, he always helped me bring my art to life and always encouraged me to never stop enjoying art! I got my wife into it.

2. When you are not cosplaying what else do you do and what are your hobbies?
Both GNA/CNA studying to get our LPN. Hobbies are World of Warcraft, fishing, and spending time with our two awesome kids (son and daughter). Alyson likes to read and sew.

3. What is one big piece of advice you would give to a new cosplayer?
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD COSPLAY! Being a cosplayer is about bringing a character to life and enjoying it. So what if you don’t have the skills like some other people, the MOST IMPORTANT THING is to have fun! And if you keep at it the only way to go is up in skill with practice.

4. What is one thing the cosplaying community can do better when it comes to dealing with each other?
Needs to be more love plan and simple! We are all there to have fun, not to have some L33T3ST (elitist) attitude to other Cosplayers!
