The Friday Geek for September 26, 2014
Dropping dime on stuff you may have missed this week…
It’s the last Friday of September, Fall is here and it’s about 89 days and 16 hours as of this writing until Christmas!!! Let’s end this week on a high note and look forward to the weekend.
If you are in or near Maryland this weekend, check out the Baltimore Book Festival at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor from today until Sunday. There will be all types of vendors and signings happening as well as music and good food. The price of admission? FREE!!
What’s playing this weekend?
The Equalizer *mumbling* great, if it wasn’t Idris, the ladies will have someone else to drool over this fall.
and for more openings go to IMDB
So what did you miss this week? A whole bunch but let’s keep it short!
In September 1984 this little cartoon changed the way we looked at toy merchandising as well as giant robots forever. And say what you want about how Michael Bay may or may not have butchered our childhoods with his movies, but it’s mind blowing to say, Happy 30th Birthday to the Transformers TV series!
Speaking of birthdays, Lost is now 10 years old. J.J. Abrams really made his mark with this show after Alias by setting the mark with an epic mystery that somehow screwed their audience over. **SPOILERS!!!** THEY ARE ALL DEAD!! So what are they doing now? Catch up with them here.
Hey!!! Let’s get the early jump on Rebels!!!! How? If you already have a WatchDisneyXD.com verified account, you can watch it TONIGHT as opposed to waiting until next week like all the rest of them suckas!
And before we bounce…remember this kid?
Apparently he will be on The Walking Dead playing someone named Noah. It’s unclear what his role will be, how long or even when he will appear. Hopefully he will last longer than his on screen best bud, Greg did.
You remember this, right?
Well that’s it from me…somewhere out there a few rounds with Destiny is calling my name!
See ya next week!!!
