It was a very good weekend for football here in DC.  One of my friends, drove all the way from Minnesota just to catch the game.  Saturday afternoon, we went to RFK to watch the free team practice and afterwards we got a chance to meet Tim Howard as well as Coach Klinsmann himself!

Day of the game, we all hung out at the free tailgating party and got to meet a few USMNT legends including Marcelo Balboa, Kasey Keller, Tony Meola and Brian McBride

 

 

 

From there it was game on as 47,000+ fans watch the US get a surprising win (first since 1999) over Germany 4-3.
