Sinners continues to astound…

I know it’s been said but I have truly not seen an actor perfectly encapsulate two entirely separate and unique characters the way that Michael B. Jordan did with Smoke & Stack. I’m obsessed with the way he was able to make them seem like such opposing personalities and yet, at all times, their love for each other was always evident.

Fellow Oscar nominee Wunmi Mosaku gives an absolutely stellar performance as Annie. Having loved her as Hunter B15 in Loki and as Rial in His House it’s genuinely so wonderful to see her getting her flowers.

The depth of the storytelling and how much can be discovered by merely re-watching the movie is so fascinating to me. One day I’d love to sit down and speak with Coogler about the amazing place that is his mind.
