How long have you been cosplaying?
I’ve been cosplaying for about 4 years now. I’m still pretty new to it all.

What characters have you cosplayed the most?
I’d have to say the character I’ve cosplayed the most would be Joker. Love him and Harley, obviously, lol.

What made you decide to cosplay?
I can’t really say something or someone inspired me into cosplaying. I  just always loved the idea of showing my self expression in another creative way. Also, being able to escape reality (it’s been some tough times), so it’s a nice to get away 🙂 I have met some awesome people through cosplaying too. 

What do you do for your day job or hobbies?
When I’m not cosplaying I am a variety content creator, streamer on twitch and an artist on the journey of becoming a full time artist. My art is how I take care of my family since I’m unable to work like I used. I, unfortunately, have some lower back issues so a regular job has been quite challenging to obtain. 

Which of your cosplays have been the most challenging and/or the most rewarding and why?
The costume that gave me quite the challenge was my Fae which was inspired by The Crow (the movie). Mainly the make-up and the top used needed some editing….whewww was that a situation. However, the ending results were beyond what I could imagine. I had to legit trust the process! 

What is the best advice you would give to other cosplayers of color specifically?
Be yourself and authentically you! Let people see your awesomeness and just do it! Don’t let anyone tell you what you can/can’t do or be! You got this!

What one thing could the cosplay community do better when dealing with one another?
To be helpful and not gatekeepers. We all are here together, no need to hate on each other. Show more love, it doesn’t cost you a thing.
