How many Daredevils are too many Daredevils?

Netflix dropped the latest trailer for Daredevil Season 3 and I have thoughts.

It looks like they are going with a modified version of the Frank Miller / David Mazzucchelli storyline “Born Again”, only without all of the heroin, porn and misogyny that Miller gave Karen Page because Frank Miller.

Long story short: Wilson Fisk cuts a deal, returns to society and decides to destroy Matt Murdock’s life by taking Daredevil from him. Which, if we’re being honest, is the thing Matt loves most. In the comics he does this by having a violent mental patient dress up as Daredevil to go kill someone, but in the Netflix series it’s someone who is deadly accurate with both hands and weapons. Namely, this guy:

Pew, pew, pew!

As soon as I saw the trailer I said to Belle, “That’s Bullseye!” Then I went on IMDB to look at the show page and nothing. So, I went on the Google machine, and according to io9 Marvel has confirmed that “Benjamin Poindexter” is going to be in Season 3, and Benjamin Poindexter is one of the many aliases (aliaii?) of Bullseye. So, it’s safe to say Matt Murdock is not going to be having many good days this season.

Daredevil Season 3 drops on Netflix on October 19th.
