It has all come down to this for Bloodshot and his family. His daughter Jessie has been kidnapped by OMEN and it’s up to Bloodshot, Magic and the Bloodshot Corps to rescue her. But there is a catch, Bloodshot still needs to return from the 4002. As he makes it back, Magic and the Corps attack OMEN in an epic battle. Will Bloodshot make it back in time?

The story that Jeff Lemire tells in Bloodshot: Salvation #12 is fast paced and epic. Lemire has raised the stakes to the highest level of the series and it shows. This is the final issue of the series and Lemire just crushes it. He has shown the heart and humanity of man who has spent most of his life as a killing machine. Bloodshot finally has something to fight for and you cannot help but root for him all the way. The villains are really well written and they are sinister. Jeff Lemire is the perfect writer for Bloodshot and this will go down as one of his best runs.

The art by Doug Braithwaite is beautiful. Braithwaite draws the characters so well. Even though all of the Bloodshot Corps look a like, they all have distinct looks to tell them apart. Rampage who is one of the villains in the series looks so menacing. The action scenes are fantastic as well. They are fast and brutal which is perfect for this series. There is a scene where Rampage is taking out members of the Corps and it works so well to push the story forward.

I couldn’t find anything wrong with this book. It is just a perfect book. I stated earlier that this will go down as one of Lemire’s best runs but this will go down as one of the best Bloodshot stories in history.
