Next week after the election will be a crucial one for Saturday Night live.  Bradd Jaffy , Senior news editor and writer, for NBC Nightly News just tweeted today that Dave Chappelle and A Tribe Called Quest will feature on the first post-election show.

Many will remember that Dave Chappelle starred on his own sketch show, Chappelle’s Show which ran for 3 seasons.  Dave recently talked about some of the real reasons for the show’s demise earlier this year.  Lately, he has been focused mostly on stand up and various movie appearances.

A Tribe Called Quest, famous for many hits including, Bonita Applebum, Jazz, and Check the Rhime, will release their first album in nearly 20 years with We Got It From Here, Thank You 4 Your Service on November 11th. The group just recently opened up about the loss of Phife Dawg who passed away back in March of this year.

You can watch Saturday Night Live on November 12, at 11:30pm EST or check your local listings.
