‘Amnesia: Collection’ has been announced for PS4
Earlier this month, we brought you all a list of some of the scariest games, as voted on by you, dear readers. However, there seemed to have been some of you who were upset that none of the Amnesia games were on the list. Well, fret no more, because PlayStation just tweeted out an announcement that will make fans of the terrifying series quite happy.
Yes, that’s right. All three Amnesia games are coming to the PS4! That’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and the lesser-known Amnesia: Justine.
The groundbreaking Amnesia franchise has solidified itself in the minds of gamers as being one of the most pants-wettingly, pillow-clutchingly, sphincter-tighteningly horrifying series in all of gaming. With dynamic sound, creepy lighting, and the complete inability to fight back against any of the horrors that lurk in the dark, the Amnesia games have scared many a gamer. In fact, I have seen more than one person just “Nope” and quit the game, never to pick it back up again.

As the release is being called, Amnesia: Collection was officially announced this morning, in a PlayStation blog post written by Thomas Grip; creative director for Frictional Games. In the post, Grip breaks down the process which led to the Amnesia games, giving a bit of exposition & history about their respective creations & releases.
While no release date or price point information has been released yet, it seems that there are already fans of the series jumping with excitement and the anticipation of playing this iconic series on their PS4s. Will you, dear readers, be getting this collection on day one? Let us know in the comments!
