Halloween is fast on its way, so prepare to take up the persona of journalist Blake Langermann, who along with his wife, will investigate the murder of a pregnant woman in Arizona in Outlast II!

Developer Red Barrels has released a teaser demo of the game on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam, in order to whet the appetites of horror game players everywhere.

This iteration moves away from the psychiatric hospital, and will challenge players to survive terrifying encounters in the Sonora desert. As in the first game, the protagonist will be unable to fight, and must survive by utilizing the night vision feature on his video camera, as well as hiding in lockers. A new twist to this version, though, is that Blake wears glasses, and if they are to fall off, the player’s vision becomes impeded.

The demo will be available until November 1^st, so make sure you get it & give it a go. If you want another look into the lore of the Outlast universe, be sure to also pick up the comic book series called ‘The Murkoff Account’. There have been two issues released so far, and the comic’s story fills the gaps between the first & second games.
