Marvel Announces a Debut Date for ‘Iron Fist’
With the recent premiere of Luke Cage on Netflix, the superhero groove for serialized shows seems to be in full effect. Now, with one teaser video, Marvel Studios has officially announced the premiere date for the next series featuring a superhero from the comics!
Iron Fist will debut on the streaming service on Friday, March 17th, 2017! Yes, that’s also St. Patrick’s Day. Decisions…decisions, do we binge watch this, go out and drink, or do both.
While the video doesn’t give much beyond a premiere date, and an (amazingly) animated dragon logo, this sure seems like one way to build anticipation for the series on the part of Marvel. Additionally, we can glean a bit of information from the show’s official synopsis:
“Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.”
Are you as excited as we are, dear readers? What are you hoping to see from the series once it premieres? Let us know in the comments!
