Watch out! Samurai Jack Season 5 Is Coming
90s kids, get hyped! We’re finally getting a season five for Samurai Jack! Cartoon Brew posted this promo art from Genndy Tartakovsky, the Russian-American animator, director and producer who created the show, from the Annecy Festival which has been held in Annecy, France since 1960.

We’ve heard very little about the show’s comeback until now. After 12 incredibly long years of waiting, Jack may actually find a way back to the past and save mankind from this world ruled by Aku. Season five will begin somewhere in 2016 on Adult Swim’s Toonami.
The panel stated that the season will be 10 episodes long, but paced like a five-hour movie. It will take place 50 years after the events of the show, taking into account the toll the last five decades have been on Jack. It will be a much darker show than we’ve seen previously. At some point Jack gets some pretty elaborate armor and a tricked out motorbike, judging by some of the art shown:
