The bus heads deep into the mountains, carrying 30 people each with their own expectations and wounds in their hearts…

The Ushio to Tora website announced that the 39-episode anime will be split into two seasons. The series will premiere on July 3 and run for 26 episodes until December, after which 13 more episodes will air from April to June of 2016. The anime’s final episode will coincide with the manga’s final battle.

The series begins in U.C. 0001, at the very beginning of human space colonization, when a space colony called Laplace is destroyed during a ceremony hosted by the Federation’s Prime Minister ushering in the Universal Century dating system. The main story takes place in UC 0096, sixteen years after the end of the One Year War, three years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, and 27 years before Mobile Suit Gundam F91.
The story revolves around Banagher Links, a seemingly normal boy living and going to school in the space colonies. His life changes one day when he meets a girl named Audrey Burne, as the encounter brings him into contact with a new Gundam and its connections to an item called “Laplace’s Box.”

Sakura immediately becomes interested in motorcycles, and she and Onsa join the motorcycle club at the school. Then, Sakura sets out to get her license.

Based on a novel set in 1937, before World War II began in earnest, Joker Game is the story of Lieutenant Colonel Yūki of the Imperial Japanese Army. He forms the “D Agency,” an army intelligence outfit under his command and tutelage. Army General Staff attaches Lieutenant Sakuma to observe the unit’s performance. D Agency casts a wide net to find agents beyond Japanese military personnel, and Yūki establishes D Agency’s tenets, which go against IJA doctrine: “Don’t kill, don’t get killed, don’t get captured.” With this, Yūki trains a team of operatives who conduct missions against domestic and foreign powers.

Nakajima Atsushi was kicked out of his orphanage, and now he has no place to go and no food. While he is standing by a river, on the brink of starvation, he rescues a man attempting suicide. That man is Dazai Osamu. Osamu and his partner Kunikida are members of a very special detective agency. They have supernatural powers, and deal with cases that are too dangerous for the police or the military. The two are tracking down a tiger which has appeared in the area around the time Atsushi showed up. The tiger seems to have a connection to Atsushi, and by the time the case is solved, it is clear that Atsushi’s future will involve much more of Dazai and the other detectives!
