The Sartorial Geek: Geeked Out Cuffs
The most exciting part about wearing French cuffed shirts is being able to dress them up any way you want with cuff links. Yes it can be a pain at times not having a button on your cuffs, but think of the possibilities that this opens up for accessorizing. For some, the idea of cuff links spring to mind that black tie event that you attended sometime ago or just something that you never though that you had a use for. Well customizing your wardrobe with cufflinks can be another addition to your geek arsenal.
One of the great things about the properties that we love is that they are so filled with iconography that translate well to merchandise, especially cufflinks. A love of gaming is an awesome extension for your empty cuffs.
Fans of old school gaming systems can sport original Game Boy cufflinks to show their Nintendo love.
One game series that has great symbols to inspire cufflinks is The Legend of Zelda. With the Trifrorce and the Hyrule Royal Crest as models, cufflinks based on this property can be geeky and classy at the same time.
While symbols representing the game are great, nothing beats actually wearing your favorite character on your sleeve like an 8-Bit Mega Man.
Clearly video games are not the only inspiration for stylish cufflinks. There are many styles that feature a vast variety of comic, sci-fi, and fantasy properties. One of my favorite symbols is that of The Flash. I really dig the simple red, white, and yellow design. This simple color scheme allows for easy matching with a wide variety of colors.
Star Trek itself is ripe with iconography. From the starships to the space stations to the characters themselves, all make good cufflinks. One of the most simple and sophisticated styles is to just sport cufflinks detaining the iconic Star Trek symbol. You just can’t go wrong with these babies.
Not forgetting about the saga of a galaxy far far away, these Millennium Falcon cufflinks will seed your inner and outer geek into a Force induced geek nirvana.
Cufflinks are at their core a great accessory to compliment your stylish look. Adding a bit of flair with these and other inspired cufflinks will certain my a stand out look stand out even more. Allowing you to showcase your inner geek in any setting.

I need ALL of these!
