Con Talk: Vertigo At NYCC

NYCC: VERTIGO FEATURES NEW ART FROM HIGHLY ANTICIPATED FALL SERIES AND DETAILS ON TWO NEW ORIGINAL GRAPHIC NOVELS

Today, before a packed house at New York Comic Con, Shelly Bond, the executive editor of Vertigo, welcomed the crowd by introducing some of the amazing writers and artists behind Fall’s most anticipated new series.

The panel consisted of Gilbert Hernandez & Darwyn Cooke (THE TWILIGHT CHILDREN), Holly Black (LUCIFER), David Baillie (RED THORN), Lauren Beukes & Dale Halvorsen (SURVIVORS’ CLUB), Tom King & Mitch Gerads (SHERIFF OF BABYLON) and Shaun Simon (ART OPS).  Now that these new series are starting to hit shelves, fans were treated to an intimate conversation with these talented writers and artists on what fans can expect from these series. In addition, new art from issue #1s, and never-before-seen covers were revealed, the crowd was awed by what is in store for them this Fall.
