Coming To CBS This Fall: Supergirl
Coming this November to the Monday CBS line up is Supergirl. From Writers/Executive Producers Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler, Andrew Kreisberg & Sarah Schechter who have brought you such shows as Arrow, The Flash & Glee comes a modern take on the iconic DC comic character Kara Zor-El.
As a child she escaped the destruction of Krypton and followed her now famous cousin to Earth. With the help of her adoptive family Kara blends into the normal everyday of corporate America but when a tragedy threatens her family she must decide if she will remain out of the spotlight or rise to be the hero she was meant to be.
Melissa Benoist (Whiplash, Glee) brings Kara to life and will be joined by familiar comic characters, both friend and foe.
A star studded cast includes Calista Flockhart (Brothers and Sisters, Ally McBeal), Chyler Leigh (Grey’s Anatomy, Taxi Brooklyn) David Harewood (Homeland, Blood Diamond) and with a fresh take on Jimmy Olsen Mehcad Brooks (Necessary Roughness, True Blood)
