As one of the founders of Pop Culture Uncovered and someone who was born in Baltimore,  it hurts me to my heart to see what is happening right now.  With that said, we are doing what we can to give back to those who may be needy in the coming weeks.

On this Saturday from 8am to 11am, we will be at Collector’s Corner Comics in Parkville taking in donations.   If you want all of the details CLICK THIS LINK.

Please come up if you can and donate whatever you have and also if you are available help me drop off as well

If any of you can help, please some time and donate to a worthwhile cause.

The plan is simple:  Go to a neighborhood store (Rite Aid, CVS Wal-greens) and pick up the following

– toothpaste
– mouthwash
– shampoo
– toilet paper
– books
– paper and plastic utensils
– toiletries
– hygiene products
– first aid kits

To make it even easier, please get the travel sized ones.

If you have any clothing to donate bring that as well

DO NOT BUY ANY FOOD PLEASE.

Also by it being Free Comics Book Day, if any of you have any comics to DONATE, bring those as well.

WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DO NOT BRING MONEY.
