I’ve only been cosplaying since June 2013.

I Cosplay as a Shadow Trooper, Gentleman Deadpool, Steampunk Tony Stark, Captain Kirk/Michael Meyers mashup, 2 versions of Boba Fett/Deadpool mashups, Remo Wylie (a Salvagers comic book character that is based off me, and a Silent Hill Nurse.
I’m currently working on a Wolverine, Death Trooper, Deadpool/Ronin, Deathstroke, and a couple others.
- Who or what inspired you to cosplay?
My motorcycle accident on Easter morning led me, indirectly, to the Cosplay world. While searching for a new leather jacket, I saw one that was embossed to look like Shadow Trooper armor. I did some research and bought a Shadow Trooper kit. Soon after I joined the 501st New England Garrison, and with assistance of the members I built the kit which was approved by the Legion, 3 days before Boston Comic-Con.
- When you are not cosplaying what else do you do and what are your hobbies?
In my spare time I I research, work on and construct costumes and props. I’m always working on developing or learning new techniques. I love helping out with costumed charity work whether it’s with the 501NEG or other charity groups.
- What is one big piece of advice you would give to a new cosplayer?
The advice I’d give, get to know fellow cosplayers, ask questions, be cool and have fun. You don’t need to be a master craftsperson to cosplay, you just have to have the desire to enjoy it.
- What is one thing the cosplaying community can do better when it comes to dealing with each other?
Work together with the common goal of helping others and having fun. If you can set a good example for others, you will go far in this hobby. It worked for me and not only did I meet some awesome people, I’ve also been made into a comic book character !
