Dropping dime on stuff you may have missed this week…

friday

Welcome!!!  it’s less than 30 days to Halloween!  Are you ready?  No?  Well get out there now because Christmas decorations will be on sale before you know it!!!

Speaking of Halloween, if you are in the MD, DC and Va area, head up to Hunt Valley this weekend for Monster Mania! It’s three days of fun and chills with the headliner being Robert Englund and so many more.  Check the site for details regarding ticket prices which looks to be very reasonable!

So what did you miss this week?   A whole bunch but let’s keep it short because I am trying to get outta here to meet Freddy!!

First up is a really cool video from a Denmark TV show called Syndroom (a show dedicated to helping people with Downs’ Syndrome), there was a segment in which David Hasselhoff  took a fan out for a spin in KITT.  It was very cool to see.

Well before we see Batfleck next year or whenever DC and Warner Brothers decides to put out the Superman vs Batman guest starring the Justice League,  Ben Affleck has a thriller coming out today entitled Gone Girl, which so far has positive buzz on Rotten Tomatoes.

Last up, many of us have been waiting for some kind of Dark Souls game to appear for next gen and I call all of you masochists for having a love to play games that ultimately are soul crushing (see what I did there?).  While you wait, you may have a chance to have that done by a little talked about game coming at the end of the month called Lords of the Fallen.  Not sure what it is?  Take a look at the clip below.

If you have any events or something geeky for us to post in the Friday Geek, e mail us at pcupress AT gmail.com.

That’s it for us!!!   Fight the good fight, enjoy the weekend and keep the Mondays at bay!!
