After fighting off numerous foes, S.H.I.E.L.D, and The Hand, Elektra has finally obtained the body of Bullseye. Will the information Bullseye has in his head be able to give Elektra the information of the Assassins Guild leader? Yeah a little

Haden Blackman has really made this title into his own expanding on the capabilities of Elektra. In order for Elektra to get inside of the head of Bullseye, she asks Kento the son of Cape Crow to assist. The dialogue in this issue was good at bringing us into the mind of a broken (or unbroken) assassin that claimed her as his most prized kill and his dreams of killing other heroes to add to his collection. We also get to see who the “Assassin’s Guild” new leader is, which turns out to be someone who I was not expecting at all. It leads to further questions of how did this person end up being the leader of this guild anyway?

The artwork from Michael Del Mundo is really great and really makes this title shine with the visuals. The art has been so consistent in every issue and it’s amazing . Just the scene of the various trophies that Bullseye has and wants, really shows that he takes pride in his work especially his kill of Elektra. He cherishes that the most and the scene of him giving the information to Elektra for her not to remove that memory was interesting to see. The action was superb as well with Elektra and Kento facing monkeys later on in the issue which introduces the Assassins Guild leader and a surprise return of an old enemy. The colors from Marco D’Alfonso bring everything together in the end while delivering beautiful colors to each page.

Overall this was good issue introducing a new character and I forgot that there is only one more issue left after this issue. I’ll say I haven’t read much of Elektra but I have really enjoyed this run to the end. The dialogue from the character s and the art is some of the best I’ve seen. An old foe come back for revenge, a surprising reveal, and well you can never have enough ninjas in one panel. The only thing some may not like that this issue may rush things a bit since this is the issue before it all ends. I still enjoyed it and wish it was not ending at all. Elektra has become one of my favorite characters through this series.
